Time banking is a p2p currency system where individual members exchange services on a voluntary basis with one another. Time banking values everyone’s time as equal. For every hour spent helping someone in your community, the contributor is entitled to an hour of help in return. The currency units are not money but hours of time spent by people on any type of labour (called a time dollar in the USA or a time credit in the UK).

The Second International Meeting of the Territories of Co-responsibility took place in Mulhouse on 22nd and 23rd of November. It was a great success with the participation of more than 300 persons from 19 countries and in-depth debates on the different aspects of the co-responsibility approach, its application in different context and networking questions.

No question SPIRAL is idealistic... and in reality there may well be occurrences of malpractice. Not in the sense of technicalities - e.g. missing out stage 2.3, doing something for x minutes longer than instructed, including too large a number of participants in one group. The methodology is merely a step-by-step guide to follow if you are not sure how to proceed. What is essential to SPIRAL however is a series of fundamental principles which if disregarded would make the process non-SPIRAL.

The romanian project Role of social dialog for social inclusion has provided to romanian territories of shared responsibility a facebook page.

The first draft of Mulhouse study visit. The idea of the visit is to gain experience of coresponsible actions for 40 local coordinators coming from all 8 pilot cities in Romania.

The Romanian project "Role of social dialog for social inclusion", carried on by IRIS and its Romanian partner CRIES, consists on developing eight territories of coresponsibility in romanian pilot cities. Those will evaluate local well-being and draw pilot shared responsibility action plans.
